As a SOLVIT liaison, Diamond Office offers the diamond sector an additional, free service by handling complaints related to diamond shipments within the EU. Diamond Office will submit the issue to the SOLVIT database, where it is then directed to the SOLVIT center in the relevant member state.

Within one week, SOLVIT will confirm whether it can assist with the issue. A decision or guidance is typically provided within 10 weeks, acting as a non-binding recommendation for both the diamond dealer and the public authority involved.
